Thanks & A Few Cards...

Morning

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers re my Dad, we are coping as well as can be expected...the days seem to be passing by in a blur and reality hasn't sunk in yet. I am having some time on my own this morning, one of my nieces is with mum, Steve is sorting the shop for me and a few things at his own work. Think I am going to try and occupy myself with a bit of crafting.

Devastated...

Just a note to say I won't be around much...we tragically lost my dad yesterday after he had an accident at work and suffered a major head injury. We are all totally devastated and I feel completely lost.

Trying to do some crafting as I feel I need to occupy myself with something and to a certain extent have a bit of normality...may seem mad but I can't just sit around doing nothing.

What a lovely day...crafting this morning and then out with a friend this afternoon for a browse round The Range. I was very good tho and didn't buy much...saving my pennies for Harrogate show this weekend. Really looking forward to it as the one earlier this year was fantastic.

So all you have to do is include a tag somewhere on your creation....simples!!!

I have used the gorgeous Ecclectic Lurve kit, to be honest I'd forgotten how much I adore this kit.

The card is for my parents-in-law anniversary that is coming up...its on the 2nd October so I have added the month and also a heart to the date on the tag. Also need to add the personal sentiments too.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp 10th Challenge Entry....

What a day!!!

I have been trying to get a ton of paperwork done including health & safety stuff for the shop...I gave myself brain ache so decided to break off from it and craft for a few hours this afternoon.

Don't even ask whats happened to my blog layout, I normally use a 3 column template which took me hours to set up...then I decided to add a new background and now its all to pot!! Think thats a job for later.....

Wow have we got some surprises and funky fun for you today.....it is the start of a new challenge over on the Funky Fairy's Challenge Blog & also starting on the Inspirational Blog is the Funky Fairy's 1st Blog Hop to celebrate the merging of the Shop & Challenge Design Teams. We thought that we had to mark this occasion & celebrate with a "Funky Fairy" party!!! Woo Hoo....

This simply means that we have been looking at each others fab projects and choosing one to "CASE" (case is an acronym for Copy And Share Everything) so you create a project using someone else's work as your inspiration but do not need to copy it exactly.

As you hop around each blog you will see lots of gorgeous creations the design team have made. There is some candy along the way too.....the blog hop will last for 48 hours.
