Pollycraft Cards & Christmas Treats...

Well the eve is upon us and a new year is ahead...
I would like to wish everybody 'A Happy New Year' and say
'Thank You' for making blogging so much fun.
I have only been blogging for 4 months, in that time I have had over 3500 visits, 37 followers, become a member of the Pollycraft DT, designer for makinghandmadecards.com and last but certainly not least met some fabulous ladies...so again 'Thank You'
2008 had its up and downs which I am sure it will have for all of you...I spent most of it suffering from extreme tiredness before being diagnosed with a mild case of CFS, my granddad passed away and I got made redundant......so I will be welcoming 2009 with open arms!!!!
I didn't sleep too well last night, I woke up with awful cramp in my arm and just could not get back to sleep....so from 2am this morning I was crafting. By 5am I was getting a little tired so got settled on the sofa so I didn't disturb Steve getting back into bed...the next thing I knew was the alarm blaring out for Steve to get up to go to work.
My last post said I was waiting for daylight...we have had daylight here in Yorkshire for a fair few hours now but I was sooo tired I have actually been back to bed...
Anyway I have got pics took of cards and some of the goodies I have bought with money I received at Christmas....so here they are.

Pollycraft Woodland Elves 'Adoration' and Flourishes 'Corner' Stamps
Basic Grey papers
Sentiments from The Glitterpot
Flowers from Poppicrafts

Job Hunting Done, Now Its Crafty Time....

Good Afternoon...
I have got back to job hunting today and applied for various jobs ranging from a store manager to a secretary so fingers crossed something will come up for me.
I did have an agency call me this morning re carrying out a temporary role doing marketing surveys from home, I would love to work from home. I could run round like the tasmanian devil and get my work done then craft.....bliss, not stuck in an office. I may well become one of those annoying people who randomly call you at the most inconvenient moment!!!! Lol
I carried on with making male cards yesterday.
I have used the Pollycraft download...Wilbur, Woof For Birthdays

Playing With My New Toy......

I am so glad to be back to my crafting....
We have had a lovely Christmas but the run up to it right down to the last minute was rather fraught!!!!
Christmas day was spent with my family, I have 4 niece's, a nephew and a great nephew so rather a noisy day. Plenty of toys and games to play with.
My great nephew Cameron got a ride on tractor but the pedaling proved a little difficult for him so he ended up sat in the trailer while my nephew towed him about!!!
Boxing Day we spent with Steve's family....a lot more peaceful.
I got lots of lovely pressies plus some money so I spent some time yesterday buying some crafting bargains. I have ordered some more pro markers, stamps, papers and a set of nestabilities...can't wait for them to arrive.
In the meantime I have got my new sewing machine out to play with....I have stitched around the edge of the papers and also the image.

A Little Chat and Yet More Crimbo Cards.....

Good Morning
I still have this blooming back ache which is about driving me insane as I need to be on with various things but can't get comfy for long enough to sit at my crafting table.
I sure hope its eased by Friday as I am hitting the town with the girlie's for a night out. A little falling over water may help tho!!! Lol
Another couple of cards done for orders...only 7 more to go!!! I ended up with more orders as when one lady asked me I meant to say no sorry but instead when I opened my mouth the word yes came out!!! Fool :-)
Oh I suppose its all money and keeps me busy while I am not working.
I am very excited as I have my 1st job interview tomorrow so fingers and toes crossed it goes well. All the other girls I worked with have been given redundancy notices too. I know its everywhere and really do feel for anyone that its happening to. When is all this doom and gloom going to end???!!!!
Anyway here are two more cards I have made to order.....
