Wedding Anniversary Card

Where has the day gone??!!
I have managed to get one card made.
For my mum and dad in law - their anniversary is on Thursday so its gone off in the post to them today.
Forever Friends again - so hard for me to resist them.
Silk flowers from my stash (available in my Ebay shop), brads from Poppicrafts, ribbon and paper from my stash, finished with a little doodling using a glitter pen.
Sentiments done on my PC.

More Christmas Cards

A few Christmas cards using Anita's Dimensions stickers.
Papers from Text Prints Mat Stack by DCWV and my stash together
with the ribbons, bows and gems.
I don't know whats gone on with the camera - maybe that I am sat in my pj's with the curtains closed and the light on isn't helping.
I think I better go get dressed and then get on with a wedding anniversary card for my
mother & father in law.

Forever Friends - 18th Birthday Card

The weekend is here and the sun is shining :-)
I had an order to do this morning for an 18th Birthday which I thought I would share with you.
I have recently received my new stash of the Forever Friends range and must admit I love it!

Stamped & watercoloured image, mounted onto embossed paper using my Cuttlebug, layered onto pink & silver mirror card. Finished with ribbon, gems, silver die cut numbers, sentiments done on my PC - no flowers on this one
(that makes a change!)

Where it all started!!

Well here go's - my brand new blog.

I must admit I feel quite nervous about showing you my work and embarrassed at my first attempts of card making.
I am so inspired by many of you other blogger's out there that I thought it was about time I had my own blog. Hopefully I may be able to inspire some of you!

Probably the best place to start is the beginning......

I have always been a 'crafty' person, inspired by my mum who most of the time had a knitting needle or a sewing machine attached to her! I can knit, sew, cross stitch, make latch hook rugs etc but had never tried card making until earlier this year - I have to say that I am totally hooked.
My first discovery was 'Pollycraft Designs' - here are my very first cards I made using Paula's designs. AAArrrrhhhhhh!!! (This is to my cards and certainly not Paula's designs)

Discovering black/white die cuts and rub on transfers.

Penny Black stamped images.

Scruffy teddy bear die cuts and free papers.

Well that's my first post done, my embarrassing first attempts at card making logged.

I am now ready for my next post - things can only get better!!
