What I Have Been Up To & A Birthday Card...

I am still trying to organise my craft things ...it's very strange but I keep finding things that I have no idea where they have come from... Lol!!!
Been taking a tea break here and there...and have made this card for a friend which she ordered for her son's girlfriend.
I have only attached the middle of the image, vellum and paper then curled them round so they stand off the card

Big Thanks You's....

Morning,
No cards from me today...I spent yesterday moving things about in the house to make room for my ever growing craft stash.
I have packaged some of Steve' things up and he has put them in the attic...
a friend suggested that I put him in there too but I think that is a little mean...
very tempting tho!!!!
He doesn't need all those football programmes, video's and books like I do my crafty stash!!!!
********************************
I would like to say a few HUGE THANK YOU'S to a few people.
Firstly to Sammie and Shaleise from Pop's Angels - http://popsangels.blogspot.com/
They have sent me these wonderful cards with very nice messages of thanks.
I went to meet Pops, Lee and the children a short while ago after getting to know Pops through blogging...they made me feel so welcome in their home and truly are a lovely family.
I am very pleased that they liked me and that I am invited to see them again...I think Pops was relieved to know they hadn't put me off too.
I took them all a few little gifts and these cards are to thank me.
Also enclosed with the cards were these beautiful papers and images.

On the same day I received this gorgeous card from Marcea filled with beautiful images and flowers.

And last but certainly not least I received these beautiful images, lace and charms enclosed in gorgeous organza bags from Linda

Thank you soooo much to you all....I am amazed at how kind and generous you all are.
You have certainly made me smile during this time of bad luck I seem to be having.
Big hugs

Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life....& A Big Thank You

After my last post of all the things that have been happening to me I am trying very hard to look on the bright side of things.
Many people have said to me that work are maybe doing me a favour and the stress of trying to hold down a full time job while being ill probably isn't the best mix.
Part of me agrees but parts also feel very wronged and upset at the circumstances.
Anyway onwards and upwards...
**********
I would like to say a big thank you to all of my blogging/cyber buddies...your lovely and very thoughtful comments do really help.
**********
I have a lot of posts to catch up on, have found my inspiration so some cards to show you too and I also need to catch up on what the rest of you have been doing.
**********
This is the first of many post from me this morning....you have been warned!!!

What A Week....A Little Moan!!!

I don't normally post when I haven't any cards to show but this week has been such a huge rollercoaster ride of emotions for me and I haven't had a lot of inspiration for making cards.
I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue on Monday which I knew in the back of my mind was causing the problems I was having...soooo tired, foggy brain etc etc. Tuesday we buried my grandad and then come Thursday I receive a redundancy notice from my work saying they are considering making my position of manager redundant due to a huge downturn in work!!!!
I'm not stupid and know where this is all coming from....anything to do with being ill???!!!!
Anyway soon I will be unemployed, I have worked there 8 years so at least will have a bit of money to keep me going while I get back on my feet and find another job.
Steve has suggested we take a trip to Gran Canaria...that made me smile :-)
In the mist of all the shock and upset at least there is light at the end of the tunnel and I will have more time to craft...just need to find my inspiration...anyone seen it (or should I be saying mojo???!!!!)
I am expected to continue to work until a final decision is made and in the meantime have talks about how I think I can be employed elsewhere in the company, avoid redundancy etc etc...well I am sorry but I am not fighting for my job and feel that once it has come to this the decision has already been made....they are just going through the motions.
I want to call them every name under the sun...up until this point they have been very good to me while I have been ill and I do know they can't carry me forever but talk about kicking me when I am down.
Well I hope I haven't depressed you too much and am sorry this post is all bad news (apart from more crafting time!!)
I hope to be back very shortly with some of my creations and challenge entries.
Bye for now
